The Spring Wings Bird Festival coincides with International Migratory Bird Day and the height of spring migration in the Lahontan Valley wetlands.
Our Friday night 2008 keynote speaker will be author and naturalist Scott Weidensaul. Scott appears at Audubon/Nature Centers and Festivals all across the country. He is a much sought-after speaker on the festival circuit across the nation. His prosaic presentations have been performed to standing ovations at recent California festivals. A definite, MUST SEE!!
On Saturday, join our speaker Al Batt, who will educate while he entertains. Al's talks are thoughtful and humorous, and you will learn while you laugh. Al's depictions of growing up in Minnesota, a young bird lover, are priceless. Another definite MUST SEE!!
